Type: Temporary Part-Time – Leave Replacement
Compensation: $25.00/hour - Up to 24 hours/week

The Inventory Management Assistant is responsible for providing essential support and coverage for the current inventory system, ensuring precise tracking and reporting, timely requisitions, and effective resource allocation through established best practices.

Qualifications:

• A two-year diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least one year of relevant experience in inventory control and management initiatives.

• Experience in a post-secondary educational setting is preferred.

• Proficiency in supply chain management software tools (e.g., ERP systems).

• Experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders in a support role.

• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, etc.).

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

• Demonstrated sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel between various sites as required.

• This is an in-person position requiring reliable commuting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the ongoing inventory management projects.

• Work collaboratively with College stakeholders to uphold established standards of practice.

• Provide training and guidance to program team members regarding requirements and systems.

• Engage with vendors, consultants, and subject matter experts to implement the latest methods and technologies for inventory control within existing frameworks.

• Collaborate with all College departments to identify capital assets and inventory needs.

• Coordinate with departmental stakeholders to specify product requirements, ensuring consistency in supply and stock of necessary items.

• Conduct regular audits of inventory to verify compliance with established standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.
