Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified University Lecturer to join our team at the University of Northern British Columbia. As a key member of our academic community, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Mentoring
    • Develop and deliver high-quality course materials and lectures
    • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
    • Mentor students in their academic and professional development
  • Curriculum Development
    • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs
    • Review and revise existing curriculum to ensure alignment with academic standards
  • Service and Governance
    • Participate in departmental and faculty governance
    • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Education
    • Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in teaching and research
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent teaching and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Strong research and analytical skills
