Municipal Civil Engineer

WSP Canada is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering division. This role will focus on a variety of municipal initiatives, primarily serving public sector clients in areas such as water and wastewater management, stormwater control, municipal roadway design, and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preliminary and detailed designs for civil infrastructure including water supply and wastewater systems, storm and sanitary sewers, and related components.
• Provide construction services, including site inspections and contract management.
• Manage client relationships effectively.
• Develop proposals and project documentation.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• A degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience encompassing design, project management, and construction.
• Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for registration with the relevant regulatory body is essential.
• Proven experience in creating construction contract documents and managing contracts.
• Strong background in client relations and proposal/report writing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
