About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Hazardous Materials department at Pinchin. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Hazardous Materials projects throughout the region, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and grow the business.
  • Oversee consulting projects, including assessments, contract preparation, and abatement work, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise Project Technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job functions.
  • Perform hazardous materials assessments, preparing reports and management plans as required.
  • Conduct sampling and analysis, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Develop remediation plans, working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Train and mentor junior and intermediate staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job functions.
  • Maintain and enhance quality control within the group, ensuring all projects meet the highest quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the yearly Business Plan, working closely with senior management to ensure the company's goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science.
  • 4-5 years experience in hazardous materials or indoor environmental quality consulting.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and proof all written reports and correspondence.
  • Good spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage assigned staff during project-specific work.
  • Ability to write, edit, read, and understand specifications, drawings, reports, and RFP/RFQ documents.
  • Professional verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and car are required.
  • Availability to travel.
