Gameplay Animator

We are seeking a skilled Gameplay Animator to join our team at IFG - International Financial Group. As a Technical Animator, you will collaborate with peers to develop and maintain gameplay animation systems, working with our animation systems in Unreal Engine 5 to support animators in achieving animation quality goals while ensuring gameplay responsiveness and behavioral goals are met.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with peers in designing and implementing animation state machines, behaviors, and runtime solutions following best practices.
- Work with engineers and leads to create animation behavior tools and techniques for building complex movement systems.
- Solve in-game animation implementation issues and provide technical support to the animation team.
- Identify opportunities to improve the animation pipeline and propose solutions for technical animation efficiencies.
- Foster a positive and creative work environment that supports diversity and inclusion.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AAA video game development with real-time animation systems.
- Experience with Unreal Engine, ideally creating animation blueprints.
- Self-motivated, creative problem solver, and excellent communicator.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Passion for the gaming industry and knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
- Experience with Python.
- Familiarity with animation graph state machines, IK, and control rig.
