Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Contractor to join our team at J C Mechanical Contractor Ltds. As a Sheet Metal Contractor, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products, ensuring high-quality workmanship and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products, including ductwork, vents, and other metal components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Operate various metalworking machines, including shears, brakes, and rolls
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation
  • Strong knowledge of metalworking processes and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights
