About the Role

Pacific Plumbing & Heating is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and overhaul heating systems, including rooftop units and heat pumps
  • Install refrigeration systems, including self-contained units and ventilation systems
  • Troubleshoot heating and refrigeration systems, including ventilation and air handling systems
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure on-site customer satisfaction
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including recharging systems with refrigerant and checking regulators
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants safely and efficiently
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
