Job Title: Landscape Worker

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Worker to join our team at 2448149 Ontario Ltd. As a key member of our landscape maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' outdoor spaces are well-maintained and look their best.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
  • Cut grass, rake, and collect refuse to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including small engine equipment and tractor mowers.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as pick-up trucks and weed trimmers.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed of your activities.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding work, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a client-focused attitude are essential.

Work Environment:

Our team works outdoors in various locations, including urban areas and private residences. You will be exposed to wet/damp, noisy, dusty, and hot conditions. A pick-up truck will be supplied by the employer.
