Horizon CPA is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to enhance our expanding practice.

We cater to a diverse range of clients and sectors through our innovative online and technology-driven platform.

This role will be customized to align with the right candidate's qualifications and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with our team to fulfill necessary tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage bookkeeping and payroll functions, primarily utilizing QuickBooks Online.
  • Prepare Notice to Reader (NTR) engagements and financial statements.
  • Handle correspondence and filings with the CRA.
  • Support client communication, growth, and retention efforts.
  • Assist partners with various practice and administrative duties.
  • Facilitate client onboarding and setup processes.
  • Implement accounting software solutions for clients.
Required Competencies:
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
  • Appreciate a collaborative team environment while also being capable of independent work.
  • Demonstrate a strong capacity to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities concurrently.
Compensation Overview:

Compensation will be directly related to the skills and experience demonstrated. We are open to flexible work hours or seasonal arrangements for those interested.
