Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director to lead our Canada market segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing and developing new business relationships with key clients in the electric power utility sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Canadian market
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business results and meet sales targets
  • Conduct market analysis and research to inform business strategy and identify new opportunities
  • Develop and implement business development plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Manage and maintain account management plans for strategic accounts
  • Provide leadership and guidance to business development teams
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
  • At least 15 years of experience in the utility or commercial and industrial sectors
  • Strong sales focus and ability to negotiate and close proposals/bids
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team dynamic and travel regularly
