About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Storage Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Cloud Storage organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating one of the largest distributed systems in the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software on the latest cloud platforms and drive the roadmap for the next generation of cloud storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with a tight, agile team to deliver features continuously and have a direct impact on millions of customers.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and stakeholders to design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud storage systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of cloud storage software.
  • Lead project initiatives and influence the team's long-term vision and strategies.
About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team that is passionate about cloud computing and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Our team is dedicated to building and operating the most reliable, secure, and efficient cloud storage systems in the world.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
