Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cloud-native storage solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software components that enable our customers to run stateful applications in Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop features, enhancements, and bug fixes for our cloud-native storage software, written in Go and C.
  • Participate in open source communities, including Slack, forums, and GitHub, to collaborate with other developers and contribute to the growth of our projects.
  • Evangelize our cloud-native storage solutions through blog posts, meetups, and conference talks, showcasing their value and benefits to our customers.
  • Resolve issues uncovered in production deployments of our software, working closely with our customers and engineering team to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers and customers to create a world-class product, delivering high-quality code and accompanying tests to minimize regressions.
  • Work in an agile development environment, prioritizing tasks and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
Requirements
  • Comfortable working in modern Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux systems.
  • Fluency in languages like C/C++, Go, Bash, Python, and/or Java.
  • Experience in building maintainable and well-tested code.
  • Demonstrable troubleshooting and debugging ability.
  • Passionate about learning and researching new technologies.
  • Any suitable combination of four years of education, training, and experience in this technical field.
  • Preferably have development experience with virtualization platforms/hypervisors.
