Position Overview

The Logistics Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the transportation and distribution processes within Iknoor Trucking Inc. This position requires a blend of leadership, technical skills, and operational expertise to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Educational Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on logistics performance.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all computer systems and machinery.
  • Organize maintenance and repair work for equipment.
  • Address work-related issues, providing technical guidance and recommending improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on duties and organizational policies.
  • Facilitate performance evaluations for team members.
  • Manage the requisition of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The supervisor will manage a team of 5-10 individuals, including dispatchers, radio operators, and transportation schedulers.

Safety and Compliance
  • Conduct driver's validity license checks and driving record assessments.
Transportation Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Public transportation options are available for commuting.
Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
Weight Handling
  • Must be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Tools and Equipment
  • Possession of a cellular phone is necessary for communication.

Experience Requirements
