About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Outsourcing Artist to join our Iron Man team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and providing technical feedback on external art content, creating packages for external production, and integrating and polishing art assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Art Asset Integration and Polish: Ensure seamless integration of external art assets into our Unreal Engine 5 project.
  • Technical Feedback and Guidance: Provide technical feedback and guidance to external art teams to ensure high-quality art assets.
  • Package Creation and Management: Create and manage packages for external production, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Vendor Communication and Management: Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth communication and resolve any quality issues or concerns.
  • Art Review and Evaluation: Participate in art review meetings and evaluate assets coming from outsourcing and codev partners.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of 3D experience in industry-standard software such as Maya, Zbrush, and Substance Painter.
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 5 and ability to adapt to the engine and integrate content.
  • Great communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Understanding of industry standards and best practices, including providing feedback using Jira and Slack.
  • Able to travel if necessary to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
