About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Pie Junkie and Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to manage kitchen operations, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and prepare special orders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and repetitive tasks, with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
