Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Pinecrest location in Plantagenet, ON.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual to provide direct personal and nursing care to our residents, meeting their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing direct care for residents, including personal care and nursing tasks.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents and their families, including palliative care.
  • Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the needs of our residents are met.
  • Support your colleagues in providing exceptional care.

Requirements:

  • PSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association.
  • Passion for delivering quality care and a commitment to resident-centered care.
  • Knowledge and experience in care planning systems and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work positively with staff, residents, and families.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required.
