Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Snow Plow Operator to join our team. As a Snow Plow Operator, you will be responsible for operating a snow plow and other equipment to clear roads and highways of snow and ice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a snow plow and other equipment to clear roads and highways of snow and ice
  • Respond to call-ins within thirty minutes to ensure timely and effective snow removal
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment as required
  • Work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays, as winter events require
  • Work in extreme weather conditions, including snow, ice, and freezing temperatures

Requirements

  • DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract required
  • Ability to operate a loader and perform other maintenance duties
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing weather conditions
  • Good understanding of MTO standards and AMC Contract Performance Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Previous experience in winter-works operations
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment
