About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Medfar, a leading healthcare technology company. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and evolving our DevOps practices to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement DevOps Practices: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and scalable DevOps practices, ensuring seamless integration with our cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Improve Infrastructure and Software: Work closely with architecture and product-aligned teams to identify and deliver improvements that enhance site availability, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in CI/CD Pipeline Development: Contribute to the design, deployment, and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and rapid deployments.
  • Automate DevOps Processes: Automate repetitive tasks and processes using cloud best practices, reducing manual effort and improving overall efficiency.
  • Monitor and Alert Infrastructure: Participate in the design, deployment, and optimization of our monitoring and alerting infrastructure, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Manage Incidents and Emergency Response: Collaborate with the on-call team to manage incidents, ensure data integrity, and participate in release management to promote safe and efficient deployments.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Experience: In site reliability engineering, system administration, DevOps, or related software engineering roles.
  • Microsoft Azure Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its on-demand infrastructure capabilities.
  • IaC Tools: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Concepts: In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipeline concepts, containerization, and deployment.
  • PowerShell and.NET: Mastery of PowerShell and the.NET technology environment.
  • Messaging Systems: Advanced knowledge of messaging systems, logging, and monitoring systems.
  • Language Skills: Ability to communicate in English; working proficiency in French is an asset.
