Job Summary

Techso is a leading digital transformation company seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud architectures and infrastructure to meet the needs of our Montreal-based customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to configure systems to meet their unique project requirements
  • Design and implement cloud architectures and infrastructure using AWX and Azure
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain systems, including administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance technical skills
  • Participate in on-call and off-call rotations to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Ensure that solutions are delivered to the agreed-upon quality, cost, and deadline

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong experience in Linux environments (Ubuntu, RedHat, Debian)
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and components (Azure or AWS)
  • Experience with Open Source applications
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Experience with virtualization/containerization tools (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of Python and/or Bash
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken
