Assistant Manager

West Coast Kids is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, and develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
