Your Responsibilities

  • Resident-Centered Care: You will be dedicated to delivering personalized care that meets the unique needs of each resident. This includes assisting with daily living activities, respecting their privacy and dignity, and fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Documentation and Communication: You will accurately document resident care and observations, collaborating effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Safety and Well-being: You will prioritize the safety of residents, colleagues, and yourself by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: You will work as an integral part of a dedicated team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

What We Look For

  • Grade 10 education and a Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
  • Previous experience as a Health Care Aide is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
  • Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
