Position Overview

We are seeking a **Compassionate Family Caregiver** to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or similar non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
Work Environment

The work environment is non-smoking, ensuring a healthy atmosphere for both clients and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately.
  • Assist clients with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Handle laundry and care for household linens.
  • Perform minor repairs on clothing and linens.
  • Carry out light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and menus tailored to client needs.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Manage shopping for food and household necessities.
  • Prepare meals as required.
