We're seeking a talented RTL Design Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices inc. and contribute to the development of cutting-edge graphics processor IP.

The Role:

As an RTL Design Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, building, and executing the verification of new and existing features for our graphics processor IP. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the final design is bug-free and meets the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and synthesize part of the system IP using RTL
  • Achieve high frequency and low power design
  • Run front-end integration flow, deliver netlists with good quality
  • Collaborate with the RTL owner and physical design team on timing closure and report check
  • Participate in the RTL design of some system IP blocks, learn the spec, and implement in RTL, work with verification engineers on debugging
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in synthesis, timing analysis, and formal verification
  • Experience in firmware design and debugging
  • Experience in ASIC or FPGA projects
  • Skilled in Verilog design
  • Familiar with front-end EDA tools and flows
  • Advanced programming knowledge in Perl, Tcl/tk, Makefile
Academic Credentials:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering
