Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled RTL Design Engineer to join our team at AMD. As a key member of our verification team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our graphics processor IP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand new features to be verified
  • Develop and execute test plans, including directed and random verification tests
  • Debug test failures and work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects
  • Review functional and code coverage metrics and modify or add tests as needed
Requirements
  • Proficient in IP level ASIC verification
  • Proficient in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools
  • Experience with UVM testbenches and working in Linux and Windows environments
  • Strong background in C++ and SystemVerilog
  • Good understanding of UVM concepts and SystemC
  • Scripting language experience: Perl, Ruby, Makefile, shell
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership or mentorship experience
  • Exposure to video codec systems or other multimedia solutions
Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
