Job Summary:

The Retail Merchandiser is a part-time role that plays a crucial part in the field merchandising team. Reporting to the Territory Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining Hallmark Canada departments within our pharmacy, grocery, or big box retailers in mass channel accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports merchandising services with inventory management and merchandising activities in assigned retail accounts or several retail accounts.
  • Maintains scheduled service visits each week and stays within set budgets as they flex from week to week depending on retail occasions.
  • Follows merchandising plans, productivity standards, and schedules provided, with attention to detail to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Provides additional support to cover vacant accounts, holiday periods, and seasonal peak demand periods.
  • Liaises with account management as a Hallmark representative relative to scheduled service calls and builds/maintains strong working relationships with account level management.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience in a retail environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong knowledge of Smartphone technology and ability to effectively manage an email account.
