Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at North York General Hospital. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide excellent patient care and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, educate, and restore patient health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to ensure high-quality patient care
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in ongoing learning and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nursing diploma from a recognized Community College
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum 2 years of acute medical/surgical nursing experience
- Experience working in an emergency department and/or ambulatory urgent care space (preferred)
