About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Construction Laborer at AP Murphy Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction process by loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring that they are applied correctly and to the required specifications.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working closely with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring that the site is kept tidy and organized.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, ensuring that the site is safe and secure.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will be working on a construction site, which can be physically demanding and requires you to work under pressure. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, often with tight deadlines, and will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Hardworking and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
