Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

Lullaboo Aurora Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our childcare centre, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Medical exam and Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a team, and communicate effectively.
