SAP Project Support Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP project implementation specialist to join our SAP Support team. This full-time opportunity will play a key role in supporting the strategic expansion of our SAP ERP system in operations, sustaining SAP procedures through supply chain, maintenance, and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the SAP, Operations, and Finance teams, reporting to the Senior Director of Business Controls, ERP, and Risk.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of assigned SAP projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide project management expertise to various project work streams throughout the project life cycle, maintaining quality and standards.
  • Identify and evaluate SAP project risks and issues, maintaining the quality and standards required by corporate governance policies.
  • Establish and build relationships across the company to facilitate achievement of the SAP expansion into operations.
  • Consult with stakeholders to collate and validate business requirements, converting requirements into SAP requirements.
  • Manage SAP changes requested by the business, ensuring that required system controls and processes are in place.
  • Provide direction and support to stakeholders in the execution of the project.
  • Manage project change orders, including tracking, negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impacts.
  • Participate in ongoing development and improvement of SAP processes and procedures by sharing best practices and experience with team members.
  • Provide input into the SAP system controls and security design to strengthen the current design.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business discipline.
  • PMP certificate is an asset, but not a requirement.
  • Experience with SAP process, design, process mapping, and documentation.
  • 5+ years of SAP systems experience in a functional/implementation capacity required.
  • Experience in developing detailed project plans using management tools and methodologies.
  • History of working in a team environment, effectively motivating people and maintaining effective relationships with the Leadership, Finance, and Operational teams.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to travel to the Reno office and project site.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: CDN$140,000-$150,000 a year + annual bonus
