Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our before and after school programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a child-centered program in accordance with our curriculum guidelines.
  • Provide quality care and support to children and their families.
  • Build positive relationships with children and families, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
  • Ensure the supervision and safety of children at all times, and comply with provincial and municipal policies and procedures.
  • Observe and document children's learning and development, and make recommendations for future programming.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
  • Up-to-date immunizations required by Public Health.
  • Ability to work outdoors for at least 1 hour daily year-round.
  • Flexibility and adaptability regarding assigned working hours.
