Anesthesiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team at the Eastern Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert anesthesiology services to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Diagnosis: Collaborate with other physicians to provide comprehensive care to patients, including ordering laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Operational Management: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, working effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Professional Development: Pursue ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in anesthesiology and related fields.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: Experience in anesthesiology or a related field is an asset.
- Work Setting: Hospital (staff position) with a willingness to relocate to rural areas.
- Security and Safety: Eligible for professional liability insurance, bondable, and possessing a basic security clearance.
- Healthcare Plan: Comprehensive health care plan for employees.
- Work Term: Permanent position with a 75-hour bi-weekly work schedule.
