Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Cefa Early Learning Brentwood. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the overall well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create learning plans tailored to their needs.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
