We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Bear Cleaners & Supply. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our clients' properties.
Key Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety.
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests.
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our clients and staff.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Will train on the job.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
- Physically demanding role requiring handling of heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
You will be working in a variety of settings, including apartment/condominium complexes, office buildings, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, recreational facilities, and private residences.
