**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Operator to join our close-knit team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our production floors meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and cleanliness. This is a critical role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**

  • Complete all daily and weekly assigned tasks as indicated in the sanitation schedule and according to SSOP's
  • Complete all assigned tasks specific to the weekly production line clean down
  • Utilize cleaning equipment in a safe and responsible manner, reporting any damaged or unsafe equipment to the team leader, supervisor, or manager
  • Complete extra duties as assigned in preparation for plant tours, etc.
  • Maintain current and accurate records of completed tasks in a neat and orderly manner
  • Report any impediments or safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager
  • Coordinate with other sanitation operators to ensure that the whole team completes all their tasks
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements as trained
  • Maintain the required hygiene, safety, and quality standards on the production floor
  • Other duties as required

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma / G.E.D is required
  • Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment is preferred
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role would be an asset
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work rotating continental shift schedule - 2 weeks days and 2 weeks night (7-7)
