Sample Logistics Coordinator

AGAT Laboratories is a leading laboratory with a strong presence across Canada. Our team of skilled scientists provides specialized services in biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, geology, engineering, and other fields.
Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of samples and materials within our laboratory. This role reports to the Logistics Supervisor and works closely with the logistics team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter samples into our Laboratory Information Management System to ensure timely availability to laboratory staff.
- Document and report any sample integrity issues promptly.
- Process incoming non-sample deliveries efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor.
Requirements:
- No prior logistics experience is required.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
