Job Description

Our client, a global company, is committed to creating local solutions to solve global challenges. They are seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team on a project located in Chateauguay, QC.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing designs for projects, including infrastructure and building development
  2. Conducting site inspections and feasibility assessments to ensure regulatory compliance and safety
  3. Preparing project plans and carrying them out, including calculating estimated costs and coordinating with clients and contractors
  4. Ensuring all relevant government regulations and codes are met, including learning and applying new regulations as needed
  5. Coordinating with clients and contractors to find solutions to problems and produce presentations to showcase them
Requirements
  1. OIQ license in Civil Engineering or Engineer in Training
  2. 2-3 years experience in Civil Engineering, including infrastructure engineering and design skills
  3. Fully bilingual English and French
  4. Experience with Concrete, Forming, and Rebar is a must
  5. Written and oral communication skills, as well as leadership and organizational skills
  6. Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as project development and management skills
  7. Understanding of design software like AutoCAD
