Position Overview

The Account Management Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the Account Manager by fostering key relationships and ensuring optimal account performance. This position involves close collaboration with the Sales team and other departments to serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries, troubleshooting, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily account order processing and reporting to maintain high customer service standards while identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Address order, inventory, and delivery issues by coordinating with customers and internal teams to resolve challenges.
  • Conduct quality assessments to ensure the delivery of superior products.
  • Manage inventory levels in collaboration with customers and the Sales team to meet service requirements.
  • Monitor aged inventory and propose strategies for reduction.
  • Handle customer payments and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist the Account Manager with data analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed.
  • Support new product launches and seasonal initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and participate in sales presentations.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to enhance customer service and profitability.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in sales or marketing, particularly in business-to-business settings.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage sales and operations effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Strong customer service focus with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • A valid driver's license is required for local travel.
