About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Jordan & Neil M Enterprises as a General Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the organization, ensuring that our business objectives are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and success.
    • Lead and manage a team of senior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary resources and authority to achieve their goals.
    • Collaborate with regional, divisional, or departmental teams to align strategies and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Resource Allocation
    • Allocate financial, human, and material resources to support business initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Authorize and establish major departments and senior staff positions to drive business growth and success.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
    • Recruit and onboard newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disasters, providing them with the necessary support and resources to succeed in their new roles.
    • Apply hiring policies that promote diversity and inclusion, ensuring that our organization is free from discrimination and bias.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Establish and maintain a work environment that is inclusive, respectful, and supportive of all employees.
    • Ensure that all business operations are conducted in a manner that is transparent, accountable, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, management, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and success.
  • Work Setting
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, stakeholders, and customers.
