Position Overview

At Sunbelt Rentals, our Field Sales Consultant for Flooring Solutions is dedicated to driving success and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

The Field Sales Consultant will have the authority to cultivate profitable relationships through our specialized range of equipment. This role involves enhancing the designated territory, executing strategic sales initiatives to expand our clientele, and contributing to the establishment of the Sunbelt brand on a national scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement territory sales strategies to increase the existing customer base and attract new clients within the assigned regions and market segments.
  • Engage potential clients through phone outreach and in-person visits, including planned appointments and cold calls.
  • Deliver technical sales insights and application solutions tailored to customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in the equipment rental or concrete surface preparation and polishing sectors.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in solution-based selling techniques.
  • Technical acumen with the capacity to grasp engineering principles.
  • Strong project management, business development, and customer retention abilities.

Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates physical activities such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting weights of 25 pounds or more, along with the ability to work in various environments as dictated by job requirements.
