Job Title: Electrical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions in Guelph, ON.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints, as well as performing electrical wiring techniques such as stripping, terminating, and crimping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Assemble and install electrical equipment
  • Perform quality assurance and control
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of directly related on-the-job experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with PLCs and robotics systems
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of machinery
  • Experience with custom assembly of water treatment systems
