Section Chief, Engineering, Projects Lead

Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled Section Chief, Engineering, Projects to lead our engineering team and drive project success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring alignment with our organization's values and objectives, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's values and objectives.
- Drive process improvements within the engineering team, focusing on Design to Cost, Design for Manufacturing, and lean processes.
- Oversee resource allocation for M&T projects within the OPSIC Engineering Team.
- Support scope, budget, cost, and capacity planning and control for the OPSIC Engineering Team Global platform.
- Collaborate with the Project Engineering Manager on long-term strategic planning.
- Be responsible for the employee performance management program (PMP).
- Oversee and support team training and development plans.
You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7 to 10 years of engineering experience within the Aerospace industry. PMI certification is an asset. You have experience in project management and working knowledge of aircraft development. You are an organized person with leadership skills and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
We are looking for a candidate with a logical and flexible mindset, who can demonstrate initiative and overview/detailed approaches. Some activities may require work outside of normal business hours.
