Daadir Transportation Ltd is seeking a dedicated and organized Truck Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our trucking fleet.
As a Truck Dispatcher, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the movement of our trucks and drivers, optimizing routes, schedules, and deliveries. You will act as the central point of communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams, providing timely updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of driver hours, fuel consumption, maintenance logs, and other relevant data.
- Dispatch drivers to assigned routes and deliveries, considering factors such as traffic conditions, weather patterns, and delivery deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor driver progress and communicate effectively with them throughout their journeys, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule repairs and ensure the optimal condition of our fleet.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to trucking operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a dispatching role, preferably within the transportation industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in dispatch management software and GPS tracking systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
