We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SRA Wasaga Beach Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
  • Communication: Prepare food order summaries for our chef and maintain open communication with our staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
