Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team at Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to our campers and guests
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard
  • Kitchen Maintenance
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and utensils
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Supply Management
    • Assist in receiving and storing supplies
    • Ensure that all supplies are properly labeled and rotated
  • Health and Safety
    • Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
    • Report any hazards or incidents to the Food Service Manager
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our campers and guests
    • Assist with serving meals and ensuring that all guests have a positive experience
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous experience in a food service environment an asset
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
