About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at Alexander Wilson Architect Inc. as a key member of our design team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
  • Analyze technical documents and reports to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop and refine design concepts.
  • Prepare and present design specifications and working drawings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure design intent is met.
  • Estimate costs and materials for design projects.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as architecture or engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a design or construction company.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including ARCHICAD, Rhino, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
