Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Freedom Respiratory and Sleep Centre Inc. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax and payroll tax.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including deductions and benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
