AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Municipal Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Water group, you will be responsible for designing and managing municipal infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater/drainage conveyance facilities.
- Perform constructability reviews and prepare documentation for design projects and reports.
- Prepare construction cost estimates and project specifications.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and manage client communication and expectations.
- Assist with proposal preparation, contract preparation, and negotiation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) + 4 years of related experience with civil engineering, design, construction oversight, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience with municipal water, wastewater, and/or stormwater conveyance infrastructure projects.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- Registered as P.Eng or ability to become registered within 6-12 months.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment and experience in project management is a benefit.
- Design of new conveyance systems or condition assessment or rehabilitation of existing conveyance systems would be an asset.
