Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor Budget to join our team at Enbridge. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for examining data, generating comprehensive budget reports, and offering budget modification recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, present, and oversee financial budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain and update the GDS Bad Debt Model on a monthly basis and provide insights to Customer Care leadership.
  • Review data and analyze trends to inform budget recommendations and associated risks.
  • Prepare detailed budget reports and forecasts for management reviews.
  • Provide recommendations for budget adjustments and long-term forecasts.
  • Ensure all invoices from vendor partners are accurate, align with our budget, and are coded for on-time payment.
  • Provide data, reports, and ad-hoc analysis to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of information provided and present it for decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Related university degree or college diploma and 2+ years of experience.
  • Minimum six or more years of directly related experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Oracle.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical skills.
  • Strong report development and data modeling skills.
  • Capability to work in a team environment and ability to work independently within tight timelines.
  • Excellent understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite and very strong demonstrated Excel skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience in working with a highly regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of Ontario energy market (gas/electricity) and customer policies/rules/requirements.
