Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Signet Jewelers. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales and profit projections.
- Provide coaching and training to sales associates to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
- Monitor and maintain store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement action plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- At least one year of retail experience, preferably in a fine jewellery or specialty retailer.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
