About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
    • Manage and motivate a team of 1-2 people, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing cash, ordering merchandise, and preparing reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.
    • Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Inventory and Merchandising
    • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing way.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, building strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Work collaboratively with other teams, including marketing and logistics, to ensure that the store is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail management role

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
